About Lectures

The Institute sponsors 15 to 20 lectures and one or two conferences each year, all dedicated to advancing our mission of bringing God into the marketplace of ideas. Most lectures are free and open to the public, unless otherwise noted, and are usually held on the campus of the University of Minnesota or local churches. Call 612-378-1935, or e-mail us for further information or to purchase audio CDs (or tapes) of any of our lectures. Most of the Institute's events are recorded and are available as free MP3 downloads on the "MP3s of Past Lectures" page.

Since the Institute's founding in 1982, campus lectures have offered an exciting forum to explore diverse issues of academic interest from the perspective of a Christian worldview. Speakers have included Ravi Zacharias, Alvin Plantinga, Jean Bethke Elshtain, Nicholas Wolterstorff, Phillip Johnson, Robert George, Judge Michael McConnell, Craig Blomberg, Armand Nicholi, Nigel Cameron and Udo Middelmann.
