“Does Religion Cause Violence?” And why do so many people think so? William T. Cavanaugh, Senior Research Professor at the Center for World Catholicism and Intercultural Theology, DePaul University, will be exploring themes in his new book, The Myth of Religious Violence (Oxford, 2009). Reading Groups
New Fall 2010 Reading Groups!The MacLaurin Institute is pleased to announce six new Reading Groups for the fall semester, most beginning mid to late September. Reading groups are free and open to the public, although we limit the number of participants to facilitate healthy discussion. All participants receive complimentary copies of all reading materials. University of Minnesota students and faculty are particularly encouraged to enroll.
